I’m a free-spirited, old soul who feels most at home outdoors. Whether I’m hiking, camping, sitting around a campfire, exploring a new trail, or chasing sunshine, I’m happiest when I’m moving and connected to nature.

I’m an exercise-loving, coffee-sipping Arizona transplant who traded the rain of the Pacific Northwest for desert sunsets and year-round sunshine. Deep conversations with girlfriends are my favorite, and I’ll choose meaningful connection over small talk every time.

I’m also a bit of a dorky goofball who loves laughing until my stomach hurts. I don't take myself too seriously; I love finding joy in the little things, and I genuinely enjoy showing up for the people I care about.

At my core, I value growth, resilience, adventure, and making the most of the time we’re given.

Heya, I’m

 Coach and founder of
Desert Rain Fit.

For the past seven years, I've lived in a perpetual state of uncomfortable because of grief.

Seven years ago, we lost our son at full term. That experience changed everything. It sent me into one of the deepest valleys of my life and forced me to rebuild in ways I never expected.

In the years that followed, movement, fitness, and nutrition became anchors for me. They weren't about chasing perfection—they were the things that helped me stay connected to myself when everything else felt like it was falling apart.

Three years after losing our son, we sold our dream home in the Pacific Northwest and moved to Arizona in search of a fresh start and a little more sunshine. Around that same time, I chose sobriety. When so much of life felt out of my control, I realized I needed to stop escaping it and start rebuilding it.

The loss, the move, and getting sober taught me that rebuilding doesn't happen all at once. It happens one choice, one habit, and one day at a time.
I've learned how to hold grief and gratitude at the same time. To look for the small sprinkles of joy that still exist alongside the hard stuff. To keep moving forward even when life feels messy, uncertain, or overwhelming.

That perspective has shaped who I am, how I live, and everything I do as a coach.

Desert Rain Fit was built from that journey.

Today, I help women simplify nutrition, build strength, and create sustainable habits—not because life is perfect, but because I've learned that even in the hardest seasons, small, consistent actions can help us find ourselves again.

5 quick things

Being a mom is one of my greatest joys and the role that keeps me most grounded. I truly cherish it.

Momming
01

My sweet “rainbow baby” dog is so spoiled and comes almost everywhere with us (unless Arizona heat says otherwise)

I’m a real mug, no lid, no nonsense kind of coffee girl. Give me a ceramic mug and a fresh cup of coffee and I’m happy. Something about drinking it the old-school way just hits different.

My occasional treat? A dirty chai or iced americano with cream and two Stevia’s.

Coffee in hand & always moving

I feel most at home outside hiking, camping, or unplugging somewhere in nature.

Most days I’m in gym clothes and no makeup, but I love getting dressed up and feeling confident too.
